About

As a child of immigrants who grew up in Montreal, lived in Israel and then moved to New York, I have long relied on clear communication in my interactions. I even studied it in school and used it when I worked as a corporate consultant and government advisor. But when it came to my own internal dialogue, my self-talk was harsh and abrupt. It became my practice to learn how to use self-compassion as a framework for self-inquiry. Compassion isn’t just kind, it is scientifically proven to reduce anxiety, alleviate stress and lead to psychological well-being.

I have been doing personal coaching for over twenty years now, working with professionals, parents and partners. I use active listening, deep support and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed principles in my work along with the cross-communication tools I practiced in my career. I’ve had the pleasure of engaging in the most challenging work of finding softness in ourselves as we navigate a life that is often pretty hard.
